Upto August Update

I probably say this every blog post, but literally I am the worst blogger ever! I just need to manage my time better as I have soo much to write about!
I'm not going to do a huge catch up, but here is just a little... WE GOT A HOUSE!! yeyyy!! We are soo happy, that finally we are able to have space, and a real cooker, and space, and did I mention space? We have been couped up for 2 years and now we are soo lucky, we have 4 bedrooms, and lots of spacious rooms, and a nice back and front garden. We are sooo happy and blessed to finally have moved, and we thank Heavenly Father everyday for this huge blessing. We were also blessed with a new car this month woooo! We already have our cute lil punto, but this month we were able to get a upto date car, might I also mention Mercedes Benz oooo baby!! It is soo luxurious to drive, soo classy and just amazing, definately my kind of car, again another blessing in our lives. I already did a lil shoutout on facebook, but I will write on here too, how grateful I am for my amazing husband, that has made these things possibe, yes they are temperol and in the gran scheme of things they dont really matter that much, "home is where the heart is" and all that, but it is nice to treat yourself once in a while after working soo hard, and might I add he really does work hard! He started working for his company just a year ago, didnt know anything about shipping and had never had anything to do with it, and every day he sat at home calling people, being rejected, being lead on, being treated rudely, but he still continued, even with me trying to persuade him not to work and snuggle me all day, and with our little munchkin making lots of noise, but he continued and continued and he is doing soo well now, and we are able to be blessed and enjoy a few extra things in life because of him. All my life I have watched my Daddy work soo hard, at various different jobs, run different companys, have lots of different ideas. and always always work hard, although I can be lazy a lot of time, I do like to work too, so it is soo amazing to see that I married a hardworking man too, that he knows the importance of sacrifice and hardwork, and that you can get things in life for free but they mean soo much more when you work for them! Very grateful for him!!

Our constant blessing in our life is obviously baby Kelvin and recently he has been learning lots of new tricks. He is coming on great with his speaking, sometimes he actually says Mummy, like he's English wooo! He says mama, dada, duck, ball, boat, birds, juice, Grandma, Nana, Amen, Grandad, Charlotte, John John, Joe, he is doing fab! He loves to talk, I wonder where he gets it from? hehe!!He has also started feeding himself, which is great and is doing amazing with eating solid foods!! Hes finally stopped breastfeeding which is sooo amazing, and he is even sleeping in his own bed in his own room, he loves his room and his new house. He loves being able to have a bath everynight, and not a shower and has just this week learnt to lie down in the bath, although he gets a bit freeked out when the water goes in his ears, everynight after his bath he loves to brush his teeth and does the biggest grin to show us how clean they are, then he gets in his bed, he watches Teletubbies, then when he is ready to go to sleep he knocks my phone out of my hand and falls asleep to me singing Primary songs, it is lovely! I miss having my little snuggle buddy in my bed, but I am soo proud of him sleeping in his own bed. He is changing everyday, into such a little boy, he is soo funny, and soo crazy and we love him sooo much, we truly are soooo blessed to have him in our lives!

Speaking of Primary songs, last month I was able to attend a meeting with the General Primary President, Sister RosemaryWixom, she was soo lovely and it was such a special meeting.

Oh, also, last month we had my gorgee lil sissy's baby shower! It was soo much stress to organise but we had such a great night, it was mainly family, and so we were able to all be ourselves and had great fun! I made a nappy cake as her gift, and obviously baby Kelvin was the top entertainer!

Of course, I have to put a selfie in somewhere, so here is my make-up selfie from the other day, contour and highlighting is my new obsession! Oh and Kelvin the amazing husband payed for me to have a facial and HD brows, so thats those too!!

Recently March-April

UPDATE!!

So, I am literally the worst blogger on the planet! I have soo much to write about everyday and I just always forget, I want to start being more focussed on my blog, as I really want something for my babies to look at when they're older and for us to read through to have some laughs!
Whats going on right now?
Well at the moment we are trying desperately to move house, we need more space and we just need to get on with our lives. Kelvin is travelling to Belfast every week at the moment for work, he calls people during the week and himself and John O'Connor (his #1 bestie) go out and look for contacts out there, they are doing great together and the business is really hitting off, so we feel that we can increase the business even more if Kelvin is able to go out and visit people everyday, so we decided were going to move to Bangor. It is a gorgeous place and the ward there is amazing! There are a few people who I know from England that attend there and most of the other people in the ward are our age and have babies the same age as baby Kelvin which is just perfect!
So this week (03/04/14) we went to visit a house that we really liked. When we got there, there were 5 other families viewing the house at the same time, the estate agent showing us round was late and didn't know anything about the house, he told us he just works part time so doesn't really know anything about the houses he just shows people around, weird!! The house was nice, but it wasn't as good as it looked on the pictures, for some reason the owner had took all the grass out of the big front and back gardens and replaced it with wood chippings, which was just really random to me! The kitchen was very small and the living room was too, but the other rooms were perfect there was a lovely big dining room with a nice table and chair set, and upstairs a big bathroom with a bath which baby Kelvin instantly climbed into, then 3 bedrooms, 2 double and 1 single so that was all perfect, I would be happy to live there, so off we went to apply. The estate agent at the office didn't even properly greet us, and he said someone has already applied, but wasn't very encouraging to us, and he also mentioned a few times that he finished soon so i could tell he wasn't going to help us out. We were really disappointed with the service there, but its not the estate agents we deal with its the owner so we were still willing to apply for the house. We went back to Johns house for a little bit and he found an even nicer house which we like a lot more, so were heading back up again this week to check that out, so hopefully we will be able to move soon!

Always making time for a quick selfie!!
Baby Kelvin and I also enjoyed a wee adventure whilst Kelvin was working. We got a train by ourselves into Belfast from Bangor in search of Victoria Square and a cute cupcake shop i saw on the internet. The cupcake shop had 30 different flavours of cupcakes and looked really nice, so i was looking forward all day to a scrummy red- velvet cupcake! We were travelling on the train for 45 minutes, so baby Kelvin got a bit restless, when we arrived in Belfast we went to look for a toilet to change and feed baby Kelvin. We found Marks and Spencer's which had a huge baby changing area so i let baby kelvin play for a bit. I let him up on the side to play at the mirror and he climbed into the sink, he does this quite a lot at church so I knew he'd be fine. He was playing for quite a while then he told him don't turn the tap on. He didn't for a while... then he did! He was covered in water on his legs, i had to buy him new pants as I didn't bring any and the only baby ones they sold in Marks and Spencer were grey really thin leggins with palm trees on, so off I headed to Primark! I got him changed then when found a shopping centre with a little play area so he played there and had his food and went to sleep, he was soo well behaved! Anyway whilst all this was happening i was still in search of my cupcake shop, i literally walked around Belfast like 4 times, and asked numerous people if they knew where the street was, they all sent me the same way but still I couldn't find it. I found an information shop so i went in there and found there was no lift, so i had to pull the pram up a few stairs, which would normally be fine except on the way back down, the pram collapsed with baby kelvin in it asleep, it was horrendous! I had to lift his seat off with him in it, lie it on the floor, set the pram up, which then fell over and closed up again because my bag was attached, I finally sorted the pram out but still couldn't find this silly street. I went and asked another person and he said id just walked past it, i turned around and yeyy "The Little Cupcake Cafe" i walked in and it was just a boring cafe with a couple of cupcake items. I looked on the shelf and the cupcake choices were flake, malteeser, chocolate orange and honeycomb!! I was sooo gutted, the staff weren't very friendly and the cupcake wasn't even that nice! I always compare cupcakes to Krystals as hers are amazing, and seriously no one is ever even half as good as her!! I was soo gutted about my cupcakes but at least we had a nice time walking around and finding different places.

House update...
So we found lots of houses that we liked in Bangor, but for some reason, everyone we went to visit or were interested in was either sold, or off the market in some way! We were feeling quite confused for a while and weren't really sure what to do, it seamed that everything we had thought was right was wrong! A few weeks ago Kelvin got called as Assistant Ward Mission leader and I was called as 1st Councillor in the Primary Presidency with Rachel as the President and Jenny as the 2nd Councillor! I was soo excited for our Presidency, I love Rachel and Jenny it will be soo fun working with them. So anyway after we got these callings we were thinking aww it will be really sad to leave now, it would be really fun serving in these positions. We have also been going to the gym most days, and its an amazing gym which we both love, it just has all the usual gym workout stuff but its 24/7 and we've really been pushing ourselves to go and get fit (in all senses of the word) the gym is only €22 a month and the classes are also great, it basically has EVERYTHING you need at a gym without the fancy stuff like swimming pools, sauna's, jacuzzi etc, which at first I was gutted about but then if you want to get buff and focus that's not what you need! Also, even though we arent in our own house exactly, we just love the area that we are in, the beach is just 5 minutes down the road, there is a gorgeous park right near by and we are in the perfect location to get anywhere, its also really safe and the weather to me anyway always seems to be lovely. So we actually started feeling not so good about moving to Bangor, the main reason we would move is for work, but I was also looking forward to making friends, and building back my confidence. For some reason when I got married I went into a little shell, I miss my family like crazy, i know families are close but we are really close! We are all best best friends, especially me and my sisters, and even my parents, we always tell each other everything and always do everything together, oh my brothers too, I love them my lil babies! So it has been really hard leaving them, and being in a different country to them!

Also my friends, I never really got along well with girls, but a few years ago I made some amazing friends, and they helped me through the most difficult of times, without them I dont know where I would be, they helped me gain confidence and to laugh and to get out of a big hole id put myself in through silly decisions! They are just the perfect friends, always encouraging, loads of fun, love girly things, love Kate Middleton, love make-up and housewifey stuff and just love to have fun, so its really hard to be away from them also, and to see them about once a year. Anyway I kind of stopped myself making friends here, I always thought id be moving back to England and convinced myself I hated it here etc, but I actually love it here, I really do, it is a lovely absolutely beautiful country, peaceful, friendly and I feel this is the best place for me and my family to be. I have decided to try harder to make friends, and come out of my shell, I already have a few lovely friends here, and am so grateful for people that go out of their way to get to know me and to meet me! So as a family we have decided to stay in Dublin for longer, as this decision came about we found my personal dream house, Kel loves it too though! We;re hoping to save a little more and rent a gorgeous house in a lil village just down the road so fingers crossed that will work out! I think us moving will help so much, it will help us to feel more individual and grown up and we will be able to have people over and have the missionaries over and do proper things in our house, Im sooo excited!!

Little Twinkle Toes

 What a handsome lil model!
Baby Kelvin is walking!! yeyyyyy!! He took his first few steps on my birthday 21.02 and ever since he has gradually been getting better and better, its now 21st April and he is pretty much a pro! He walks everywhere, the only problem is, he never wants to stop, and literally wants to walk everywhere, although it is a great thing as it gets me up and out of the house as he always wants to go outside! It is so fun to watch baby Kelvin developing in so many ways, at first he couldnt do anything except poo and cry, (although he never really cried) then i taught him how to eat, then gradually he learnt to laugh, say dadda, and mama now, he learnt to roll over, to sit up, to hold onto things, to eat solid food and now he can walk. He is soo much fun, he is slowly developing his own little, very cheeky personality, whatever he does he always turns round and has the cutest cheekiest little grin on his face. He has learnt to play boo and to pick things up, that he knows he shouldnt and hide them in his hands so we dont realise! He also loves to play tickles, we have always tickled him since he was new born, as we always wanted him to laugh, and now he comes up to us tickles our kneck and says "tickle tickle tickle" its the cutest thing! He loves to watch disney movies, and he often sings along to them, we have dancing time together (he has great rhythm) and lots of other fun games, he loves to scream and shout and say raarrrrr, one of his other favourite words that he always says is "dacoy dacoy" he says it for most things, so were not really sure what it means but its great! Oh also, whenever he hurts himself, he always comes for cuddles annd we have to tell the item off that he fell on, or hurt himself on, for example if he hurts himself on the couch we say "you naughty couch, dont you ever hurt the little Prince again" then we have to hit the couch and he feels much better.

Oh baby baby!!

 Baby Pip at 12 weeks

This week we also found out that we are going to be Auntie and Uncle and bets cousin to a gorgeous little Nephew!! yeyyyyy we are sooo excited!! We were all coninced that Wissy was having a girl but on Wednesday she went for her scan and its a boy!! He is growing perfectly and he is a little wriggler just like his big cousin was, we cant wait to meet our lil Nephew and spoil him like crazy, and baby Kelvin is sooo excited to have a lil best friend!!

Can i just say, does anyone actually looks this good when pregnant? My gorgeous, gorgeous sissy, she looks perfect!!

My lil tiny nephew Benjamin Button @ 20weeks, sucking his thumb, defo going to be a lil breast feeder yeyy!

Baby Kelvin's 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday Little Princeton!!

So this week was my tiny baby Kelvin's 1st birthday! I cant believe he is already 1, it has gone sooo fast and I have enjoyed every second of watching him learn and grow. He is now able to walk, trying desperately to talk and is so much fun to be around. He is such a little cheeky monkey and does lots of crazy things every day. He loves to dance and sing, and run about, and scream and shout and I am soo blessed to be his Mummy!
I still think everyday about the first time we saw his perfect little face, Kelvin and I didnt really know what to do, it was soo crazy seeing our little baby, we just thought of his as a little pet,we loved him soo much then and everyday our love grows more and more for him. A few days after he was born I was sat in our bedroom rocking him to sleep and I looked down at my little Prince, the Primary song, "My Heavenly Father loves me" came to my mind, I know for sure that Heavenly Father does love me, and it is hard to find anything that proves that to me more than when I look down at my little baby and see Heavenly Father's love for me in him. He sent this child to me, to be in my care and for me to love him and teach him and lead him back home, where we can be together forever, I am eternally grateful for my precious gift and I love him with all of my heart and hope I am being as great a Mummy as I can ever be.

We took baby Kelvin to a children's play museum called "Imaginosity" it was great fun. There were lots of exciting toys to play with, a mini kitchen, a mini shop, a little house, a real car, work tools, a stage, interactive games, soft play area, lots of things! We had a great day together as a family, we went to the mini shop and I got baby Kelvin a basket and we went to do some pretend shopping, instead he found a box of fake carrots and got 1 out and carried that the whole way around with him trying to eat it, he is soo funny! Upstairs there was a bubble machine that changes colour and a fish tank, baby Kelvin loves animals so he had a great time just looking at the fish for ages, he enjoyed playing boo with Daddy and going down the slide lots of times!
Im hoping to be able to post a few pictures, but as his birthday treat to us, baby Kelvin flushed my iphone down the toilet so at the moment I dont have any pictures from the day, its a good job your cute lil man!!
When we got home from the museum we set up baby Kelvin's new bike and had his birthday cake. He LOVES his new bike, I am soo happy!! I was worried because he hates being strapped into things like his
car seat or pram, but he loves his bike, we take him on walks most of the day and whenever he cries we say okay lets go on your bike then and he stops crying, its great! Plus he looks sooo cute on it!
We had a great day celebrating and we hope you did too little Princeton!!

Adventure is out there!!

Mummy and Baby adventure day!!

21.01.2014
Today was soo much fun!! Kelvin works everyday from home, so it is really hard for me and baby K to keep quiet and not disturb him, we try to go out to places and most days we do but sometimes I am particularly lazy and dont want to do anything, which consequently makes it really difficult for Kelvin to work. Today wasnt one of those days!
Baby K woke us up at 9, we got ready and left the house for 10.30am,
world record!! We went to get some petrol then played in the car for a lil bit, whilst I put my make-up on, baby K played with my brushes and played with the steering wheel, he loves to drive (and eat my make-up). Then we set off to Pavillions shopping centre, first we looked round a few shops then we got hungry so decided to get some pancakes, Superquinns own 5 for €2 amazing!! (On pancake day last year Superquinn were making these pancakes all day, just hot off the hotplate and they were actually amazing, I tried all year to find a good recipe like them, they do sell the mix but you need a hot plate for sure!) We found some benches and ate some pancakes together, baby K was soo excited to be near the benches, he was walking around them, kissing them, screaming into them and crawling under them, he was soo funny and crazy.
After our pancakes we headed into "Easons" its just a book shop but a really good one (also really expensive) they have a little kiddies reading nook which i think is sooo cute! It reminded me of Matilda when she is in the library all day just reading books, I hope when we have our own house we can have a reading nook, books are much better than TV and baby K already loves them. We sat on the couch there and read through 3 books, 1 was a pop up book about Spot the dog, which I used to LOVE when I was younger ... "Spot, Spot a loveable Spot he's soft and cuddly and he smiles a lot" but baby Kelvin didnt really like that book, the puppet was huge so i think he was scared of it. We then moved onto Peppa Pig books, I dont think its a girly programme im not sure, but all children seem to love it, I must admit I do think its pretty good actually, I love Peppa's baby brother George he's soo cute, we read about how much Peppa loves Mummy and about Fire Engines, baby K loved the fire engine book! Hmm maybe I should look into taking us for a fire station tour, I wonder if they do that here?!
After story time Kelvin started to get a little cranky, he was tired, but I tried to keep him awake as the whole reason we came to the shopping centre was to check out the new Pirates village that has just opened, baby Kelvin loves play area's so we were really excited for this one it looks great on the website. We arrived at the door, and it smelt like gone off wet clothes, and was absolutely freezing, we took a step inside and all that was in there were huge blow up bouncy slides, they might have been fun but not for a baby, the toddler area had a huge slide like 3 times the height of my moms house, and the gate had a sign saying maximum height and the arrow was about the same height as me! There was hardly anyone in there and it just looked awful, there were no pirates, no music and not really much colour, I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone, so we turned back and went for a wee walk outside (mainly because the lift had broke so there is no other way to get back to the shopping centre) and back to the car. Kelvin had a little feed, I reversed the car and he was completely asleep, lil cutie!! I was disappointed about pirates village so I was thinking if where we could go instead, I wanted to keep out of the house for a while so Kelvin could work properly without us distracting him, I decided we'd go to fun galaxy instead! Baby kelvin actually LOVES this place! It's a big play area, lovely and warm, friendly staff and lots to do there. Last time we came it was very busy so we stuck to the toddler area, in the big area there was a huge slide and lots of climbing stuff but there was a sign saying no adults so I didn't take baby Kelvin up, however this time I asked the staff if I was able to and they said its fine, Yeyyy! We went down the slide loads and kept climbing everywhere, then played in the ball pool and with the bike and blocks we were there for 2 hours! I always loved play area's when I was younger and I was excited to take baby K to them, but I didn't think we had any here, then I found Fun Galaxy, I love it!

Baby Kelvin's favourite thing to do is just sit in the ball pool and chew all the balls haha

 Little cute face!

Just woken up ready to play!

This picture cracks me up, he looks like such a little creeper, funny boy!

I'm trying to organise mine and Kelvin's week so we are out of the house lots and not doing the same thing, I made a list of fun activities for us, Thursday is going to be Messy play day because this is the day Kelvin goes to Belfast, so he can't tell us off hehehe!
